MULTI BINA USAHA started off as a family business, which were only my husband and me at the time in 2001. We built up our company with limited staff and began to collect experience. In the following years we participated in several seminars on handicraft management skills, which were provided by the Indonesian Government in order to promote the private sector. Following these trainings, our business became more firmly established. MULTI BINA USAHA produces and sells jewelry, handicraft and garment products. All are exclusively handmade using our own designs. Our jewelry is made of natural stones, sea shells, beads and silver. Handicrafts are made of albesia wood which is a soft wood that can easily be carved and shaped in any way. Bamboo, bronze and stone are completing our range of materials. Weaved Pandan is used for the production of the bags, place mats, coasters etc… Our garments are made of cotton. We design Sarongs which are mostly used as Beach Wear and also serve as a multi functional cloth. Our customers are mostly from Netherlands and the Middle East, but we have also some business relationships with wholesalers from Australia, United States, Italy and New Zealand. We have already been attending various exhibitions in Australia, Italy and Indonesia. Our experience thaught us that our handmade producs, jewleries and painted Beach Sarongs attract our customers, because they have a emotional connection to it.
